Visible Beyond the Horizon.
Out of sight should never mean out of reach.
When an emergency occurs at sea, visibility can be the difference between a successful rescue and valuable time lost. Darkness, rough seas, heavy rain and dense fog can make it extremely difficult for nearby vessels and search and rescue teams to locate a distressed boat or survivors in the water.
ALS Beacon™ Marine is designed to improve emergency visibility and help make people easier to find when every second matters.Compact floating beacons can be rapidly deployed around a disabled vessel, life raft or person in the water, creating a highly visible illuminated safety perimeter. The flashing warning lights and integrated audible alerts provide a clear visual and audible reference, even in severe weather and low-light conditions.
Using satellite-enabled communications, the system is designed to transmit precise GPS coordinates and incident information, helping ensure emergency alerts can be sent even when conventional mobile network coverage is unavailable. Where integrated with participating emergency response systems, this information can assist search and rescue teams in locating the incident more quickly and accurately.
As rescue vessels, helicopters or nearby boats approach, the illuminated beacon network provides an additional visual reference, helping guide responders to the emergency location in conditions where the vessel or survivors themselves may be difficult to see.
Whether protecting recreational boaters, commercial vessels, fishing fleets or offshore operations, ALS Beacon™ Marine is designed to improve visibility, support emergency response and help reduce the time it takes to locate people in distress.
